A tornado drill will be conducted the first Wednesday of every month at 10 am. At this time the emergency siren will sound one long blast, then three short blasts for all clear.
Latest Announcements
The Village of Unionville Council meetings are held at 7pm the third Monday of every month in the conference room at the Village Hall. Council meeting minutes are posted at the Village office, US Post Office, Columbia Township Library also on our this site.
A Special Council Meeting will be held on December 1, 2010 to discuss the 2011-2012 Village budget at 7 p.m. All Village meetings are open to the public.

THE VILLAGE OF UNIONVILLE WILL HOLD A CLEAN-UP DAY FOR ALL VILLAGE RESIDENTS ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 21, 2010 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7AM AND 4:30 PM. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO RID YOUR HOME AND YARDS OF ANY UNWANTED OR UNSIGHTLY ITEMS. A DUMPSTER WILL BE AVAILABLE TO DISPOSE OF THESE ITEMS AND WILL BE LOCATED BEHIND THE UNIONVILLE VILLAGE HALL FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.

NOTICE:
The Tuscola County Board of Commissioners has made the decision to change from the current system of 3 Road Commissioners appointed by the Board of Commissioners to 5 Road Commissioners elected (partisan) by the public at-large. This year one of the current three Road Commisssioner terms expire on 12/31/2010, this postion along with two new positions will be elected on November 2, 2010 during the General Election. The filing deadline for citizens interested in being elected to one of the three available Road Commissioner positions is Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. For more infomration to file for election and other procedural matters that have to be followed can be obtained by contacting the Tuscola County Clerk's Office at 440 N. Tuscola County Recycling Center at 1123 Mertz Road (M24) in Caro is accepting electronics FREE of charge until April 1, 2009. After this date, they will be charging $5.00 for each television & computer monitor. They will continue to accept the following items year round, FREE of charge:
Computer towers, VCRs DVD players, stereos, printers, fax machines, telephones, scanners, cellular phones, speakers, keyboards, computer mouse, rubber covered cords, household and auto batteries. If you have questions please contact them by calling (989) 672-1673 M-F 8am to 4:30pm.
